A very full flower of strong colour held on a tall, good stem 420 mm long. Plant carried one flower only. 
RHS Chart: Dorsal 145C with 186C. Petals green overlaid 186C. Pouch between 187A & 178A

Ns 23 mm; Ds 10 x 17 mm; Ps 11 x 15 mm; Ls 10 x 16 mm; Lip 9 x 10 mm.
 

Well grown plant with all the foliage unblemished. All pseudobulbs were clean and healthy. Flowers were all in perfect condition. Longest spike 360 mm. Totakl of 15 spikes bearing 86 flowers and 17 buds.All segments were crystal white; the lip had a yellow crest of 13B.

Judged on 12 August 1980
Ns 110 mm; Ds 98 x 65 mm; Ps 57 x 70  mm; Ss 270 x 52 mm; Pouch 38 x 63 mm.
 

A very large and well shaped flower on a good strong stem. Colour was average, a red-brown. The pouch faded towards its tip. The stem was 200 mm long.
RHS Chart: Dorsal 187C with white edge. Petals 185B over yellow-green. Lip 187D, fading towards tip.
