Spike length between 40 and 370 mm. Well grown plant with beautifully marked flowers. Some doubt regarding name. Yellow with green base colour with heavy chocolate coloured markings. 	Award No. 251 : Cymbidium Golden Boy 'Blommefees' HCC/SAOC 79% (C. Pixie Moor 'Cedargrove' x C. Wallara 'Gold Nugget'). Judged by TOS on 13 September 1984 Ns 119 mm; Ds 43 x 85 mm; Ps 36 x 76 mm; Ls 44 x 73 ; Lip 35 x 45 mm. 1 spike with 9 flowers. Beautiful yellow blooms with red band on lip. 	Award No. 239 : Paphiopedilum Dusky Maiden cv. Mont Millais AM/SAOC 81% (P. Sophomore x P Susan Tucker) Judged by TOS on 1 June 1984. Ns 90 mm; Ds 75 x 58 mm; Ps 38 x 60 mm; Ss 50 x 62 mm ; Pouch 28 x 48 mm. A well-shaped, good-sized flower on a tall stem.Base colour lime-green fading to white, delicately overlaid with red tesselations, creating a dusky-pink appearance overall. 	Award No. 238 Wilsonara Unregistered Grex cv. Witrivier HCC/SAOC 79% (Odcm. Tiger Butter x Oda. Olympic Flame). Judged by TOS on 26 May 1984 Ns 81 mm; Ds 25 x 39 mm; Ps 26 x 38 mm; Ls 24 x 43 ; Lip 24 x 33 mm. Excellent flat flowers. A pleasing yellow-and-tan colour combination although not intense. 	Award No. 237 Odontioda Aviewood cv. Witrivier HCC/SAOC 75% (Oda. Aviemore x Odm. Whitewood). Judged by TOS on 26 May 1984 Ns 86 mm; Ds 31 x 47 mm; Ps 35 x 47 mm; Ls 31 x 50 ; Lip 30 x 40 mm. A well-coloured flower with good substance and texture. The flowers were a bit crowded on the spike and they could have been flatter. 	Award No. 229 : Paphiopedilum Huddle AM/SAOC 82% (P. Hellas x F.C. Puddle'). Judged by TOS on 28 June 1984 Ns 100 mm; Ds 69 x 54 mm; Ps 36 x 58 mm; Ss 46 x 46 ; Pouch 28 x 45 mm. A very nice flower. Superb form and colour for its breeding. Good long stem, presenting the flower very well. Two spikes with two flowers. Stem legth 180 mm. RHS Chart. 	Award No. 227 : Oncidium Varimyre HCC/SAOC 78% (O. Sulamyre x O. varicosum). Judged by TOS on 26 April 1984 Ns 60 mm; Ds 7 x 13 mm; Ps 12 x 17 mm; Ls 12 x 13 ; Lip 60 x 47 mm. The plant made a wonderful overall impression. The flowers have a clear colour but there is a big variation in form between the individual flowers. Four spikes with 182 flowers and one bud. 	Award No. 219 : Paphiopedilum Transvaal cv. Jubilee AM/SAOC 80% (P. rothschildianum x P chamberlainianum). Judged by TOS on 27 February 1984 Ns 190 mm; Ds 54 x 60 mm; Ps 12 x 115 mm; Ss 34 x 56 mm; Pouch 26 x 61 mm. A striking flower, but recurving of the dorsaland ventral speals were distracting. Large flower, but segments narrow.One 560 mm spike with 3 flowers and 1 bud. RHS Chart. Base 160A with 183C markings. Petals 11D, coloured spots 183C. Pouch 64A dark purplish-green. 	Award No. 206 : Paphiopedilum Berenice cv. Boston HCC/SAOC 78% (P. lowii x P. roebelinii). Judged by TOS on 27 October 1983 Ns 150 mm; Ds 40 x 55 mm; Ps 10 x 130 mm; Ss 38 x 50 ; Pouch 22 x 40 mm. Beautiful satiny texture with smooth dark colour. Flowers slightly asymmetrical. Many previous awards in this grex. One 540 mm spike with 4 flowers and one bud. RHS Chart. Sepals 145C with overlay and veining 178A grey-red. Petals 185A greyed-purple, middle 145C with spots 185A. Pouch 185A greyed/purple, smooth and solid. Staminode light green. 	Award No. 177 Odontocidium Ryoko Miyamoto cv. Malelane HCC/SAOC 79% (O. tigrinum x Odm. Stropheon). Judged by TOS on 30 April 1983 Ns 70 mm; Ds 24 x 37 mm; Ps 30 x 40 mm; Ls 24 x 41mm ; Lip 31 x 33 mm. Flowers with excellent good substance and strong contrasting and clearly defined colour. A weak spike that nodded at the tip and somewhat crowding of the flowers prevented it from getting a higher award. One spike with 8 flowers and 5 buds, 840 mm in length. RHS Chart. 	Award No. 176 : Odontocidium Ryoko Miyamoto cv. Klippekol HCC/SAOC 76% (O. tigrinum x Odm. Stropheon). Judged by TOS on 30 April 1983 Ns 72 mm; Ds 22 x 38 mm; Ps 26 x 43 mm; Ls 19 x 40 mm ; Lip 25 x 31 mm. Tall impressive branched spike with flowers well spaced. Fairly good substance. A higher award might have been considered if the flowers had more intense colour and shape. One spike, 1 480 mm length, with 11 branches carrying 46 flowers and 2 buds. RHS Chart. 	Award No. 174 : Oncidium Kuquat cv. Komati AM/SAOC 83% (O. splendidum x O. haematochilum). Judged by TOS on 30 April 1983 Ns 64 mm; Ds 18 x 32 mm; Ps 18 x 33 mm; Ls 18 x 29 mm; Lip 42 x 42 mm. A tall cut spike carrying a total of 60 flowers and 24 buds on 7 branches. Rich yellow and brown flowers well presented on an impressive spike. Length of spike 1 100 mm. RHS Chart. Sepals 176A ground striped with 8A. Petals 154C ground marked with 176A. Lip 5C ground marked with 172B. Side of column 55C.
