flower on one peduncle; dorsal sepal broad, white with clear lime-green
flush and heavily spotted with ox-blood spots; petals forward clasping'
two-toned, lime-green flushed with brown with paler colour on lower
half; pouch well-proportioned, with a slight tan flush' fading to green

(Paph callosum 'Gerrit' x Maudiae 'vini') Judged by T.O.S on 6 September 1988. Twelve seedlings, flowering for the first time, were shown. All 12 displayed the deep dark-red colour associated with the description 'vini-colour'. The A.Q. was granted therefore for the remarkable colour displayed by all 12 seedlings. Form was average for the ross, while the size was smaller than the normal coloured type.

Dorsal sepal wide, flower well balanced with excellentt substance and texture. .

65 One spike with one flower. Dorsal sepal with white background and apple-green striping and suffused with purple on the outer edges. Dorsal sepal not reflexing. Petals spotted' with warts and hairs of a burgundy colour on the uppermost edges of the petals. Lower part flushed pink. Top part of petals striped green. Pouch nice burgundy towards the front and pale green towards the rear. Good stem on strong plant.
